A residential redevelopment of a 0.35 hectare commercial site in Borehamwood to provide 25 new mixed-tenure apartments and houses.

Arrival and progression through the site create variety in townscape character, reinforced by different unit types and articulated elevations.

The detailed layout and external appearance of the townhouses and apartments were agreed with the Local Authority as part of a formal pre-planning process.

The development incorporates similar materials as the surrounding housing, whilst adding metal standing seam roofing and cladding. Generous glazing areas are provided to living spaces and main bedrooms.
